Southwest Tennessee Community College will host a recruitment fair on Saturday, April 4, for individuals interested in teaching adjunct (part-time) at the College.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. – noon at the Bert Bornblum Library on the Macon Cove Campus.

Southwest invites prospective adjunct instructors to attend the recruitment fair to learn about teaching roles available in many programs such as criminal justice, early childhood education, philosophy, and more. Department chairs, faculty and human resources professionals will be present to speak with potential candidates about the application process, and the benefits and opportunities of working at Southwest.

Non-Traditional Programs and Adjunct Support Associate Dean Ashley Geisewite said, “This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to continue teaching and have a desire to change the trajectory of our students’ lives. We look forward to meeting with the candidates and joining the Southwest family.”
