Brandon Mason(Memphis, Tenn.) – Brandon Mason, who helped lead the Southwest men’s basketball team to the Region VII Championship and a berth in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 National Tournament, has been named honorable mention All-American by the NJCAA. He is the eighth Southwest men’s basketball player to be honored as an NJCAA All-American and the first since 2016.

Mason, the Most Valuable Player of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association’s West Division, was the Saluqis’ second leading scorer this season with an average of 15.1 points per game and led the team with 35 three-point field goals and a 80.0 free throw percentage. In addition, he was among the team leaders in assists (45), rebounds (50), steals (31), and minutes played (444). Mason scored at least 20 points four times including a season-high of 29 points in the season opener against Dyersburg State.
