Hall, has achieved a remarkable milestone by being elected as the 2024 board chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Memphis Branch. Hall, has achieved a remarkable milestone by being elected as the 2024 board chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Memphis Branch. This well-deserved recognition not only applauds Dr. Hall's outstanding leadership but also underscores her dedicated role on the board since 2022, reflecting a strong commitment to fostering growth in both education and the economy.

"I’m honored to be appointed to lead the Memphis Branch board of directors,” said Dr. Hall. “To work alongside accomplished directors to promote a healthy economy and financial stability in our region is humbling and exciting.”

Dr. Hall will build upon the board's traditions by providing robust and relevant economic research for policy-making decisions and enhancing community outreach to industry, business, and education. A key focus of her tenure will be gathering information to disseminate on how education and job training influence and benefit the workforce and economy.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis operates within the Eighth Federal Reserve District, covering Arkansas and portions of six other states. With branch locations in Little Rock, Louisville, and Memphis, the St. Louis Bank serves most of eastern Missouri and southern Illinois. The board members play a crucial role in understanding the economic and credit conditions of their respective regions, ensuring that the conditions of Main Street America are well-represented in Federal Open Market Committee deliberations in Washington, D.C.
