Progress Check! How are your classes going?

You can check your progress in your classes by following these steps:

  1. Log into your My.Southwest
  2. Click on Registration/Online Services
  3. Click on Student Records
  4. Click on Academic Progress Report/mid-term grades
  5. Finally, select Fall 2019 Semester

If you are not satisfied with your grades, please make sure to visit the Academic Support Center or utilize Smarthinking tutoring (located in your PAWs account).

Getting ready to meet with your Advisor to select your classes for next term, but not sure you are in the right major?

Schedule a 30-minute appointment with Career Services to discuss your career interests and take a free 5-minute career assessment! It’s easy! Just follow this link: https://swtn.navigate.eab.com and select “Career Services” as the care unit, then follow the prompts to choose your preferred appointment day and time. We look forward to meeting with you!

Handshake is a career management tool that helps you find jobs and internships with employers who are actively recruiting.To activate your account, visit www.joinhandshake.com and log in with your Southwest password.Next, select the “activate” icon and start viewing jobs, setting up your profile and more!

By Calling, the Advising Call Center, 901.333.5122, M-F, 8am-4:30pm.

By Calling on Wednesdays for Spot-on-Advising, which means you can speak with an PAA on the SPOT.

Peer Mentors are available to mentor and assist in connecting you with resources about campus activities and services. They are there to encourage you and help you move forward towards your degree. If you would like to be connected to a peer mentor, please reach out to Mrs. Alma Rutledge at anhernandez@southwest.tn.edu.

If your grade could be improved, know that tutoring is available! If you have the Navigate app, follow the instructions to Get Assistance and make an appointment for tutoring just like you made an appointment for Advising.

If you’re on a computer, please log into Navigate (https://swtn.navigate.eab.com) either in the My.Southwest.tn.edu portal or select below “Make An Appointment” on the ASC webpage. Once you’ve logged in, please Select “Get Assistance.” Locate in the dropdown menu “Academic Support/Tutoring,” and then select your Service as “Tutoring.” Please, then select your course, tutor, and time.
