Professional Administrative Staff Organization - PASO

PASO Mission Statement:  

The Mission Statement of Southwest Tennessee Community College Professional Administrative Staff Organization is to provide opportunities for training in the areas of supervision, budget preparation, skill improvement, and professional development that stimulates success and continuous growth.   

PASO Vision Statement   

  • To promote the exchange of information for collaboration between each divisional management team in order to fulfill the mission and vision of the college. 
  • Providing the opportunity for clear communication between departments which will better promote and ensure student success.  
  • Building a more efficient and effective institution by assessing institutional effectiveness and best practices in order to ensure continuous improvement. 
  • Promoting a campus culture that promotes diversity, learning, and student success  
  • Establishing healthy, and productive working relationships amongst professional administrators across campus.  
  • To provide a forum for professional/administrative staff concerns and input.
