DREAM Peer Coach

Hello, my name is Tylan Barr. I recently graduated magna cum laude from Southwest Tennessee Community College with an Associate Degree in Science with a concentration in engineering. I plan to continue my education at The University of Memphis this fall where I will major in engineering technology. However, I will always be a Saluqi. I plan to continue to serve fellow Saluqis as a STEM mentor. I will encourage as well as listen. I understand that everyone has a voice that should always be heard. Therefore, as a D.R.E.A.M. Peer Coach, I’m here to always assist students in need and make them feel that Southwest is their Best Choice.

DREAM Peer Coach

Hello, fellow Saluqis. My name is Jody Ann Bartley and I attend classes on the Union Avenue Campus. However, I was born and raised in the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica. I migrated to the United States in September of 2017. As of Summer 2019, I am completing my prerequisites to pursue nursing.

I am a hardworking, dedicated and jovial individual who believes that, with hard work, all things are possible.

I chose to become a peer mentor because I want to help students achieve their goals, and to encourage them to do their very best during their college years, regardless of how mentally challenging and demanding college life can be.

It would be my pleasure to work with you. Feel free to contact me.
