Student volunteers serve as a first point of contact for many visitors to the museums.  They will offer assistance and information to visitors, members, and groups in the exhibit areas with educational touch carts, guiding visitor through exhibits, and answering questions.  Communication skills are a basic requirement for these volunteer position along with learning about assigned areas. Students can volunteer for many different volunteer experiences.  The museum offers special event volunteer opportunities, where students will volunteer for a 3-5 hour event or they can volunteer for extended periods from two days though course of an exhibit.  Volunteer must attend an orientation and set up times for their volunteer hours.
