Electronic Transcript Requests

Current students can order electronic transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse, or by clicking the link above. Electronic transcript requests are processed immediately. Transcripts sent to Tennessee Board of Regents institutions are free. All other transcripts requests will have a $2.50 - $3.50 service fee applied. Please be sure to record your order confirmation number after your order has been placed.

Paper Transcript Requests

Current students who need paper transcripts sent on their behalf can request a transcript through your My.Southwest student portal

Former Students

Electronic Transcript Requests

Former students who attended Southwest 2008 and beyond can order electronic transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse, by clicking on the link above. Electronic transcript requests are processed immediately.  Requests will have a $2.50 - $3.50 service fee applied. Please be sure to record your order confirmation number after your order has been placed.

Paper Transcript Requests

Paper transcripts can be requested by former students who attended Southwest Tennessee Community College before 2008, Shelby State Community College, or State Technical Institute at Memphis. To facilitate this request, please create a free account through our secure online processing system, Dynamic Forms, to request.

  • Access the paper transcript form.
  • Select 'Create New Account'.
  • Complete the form to create a Dynamic Forms account.
  • After submission, check the e-mail address you used when creating your account. The email will have a subject line stating "Activate Your Account." You may have to also check your SPAM folder.
  • Click on the link in the email to activate your Dynamic Forms account. After clicking on the link, you will be directed to complete your transcript request.

Processing Time

Notice: During COVID 19, paper transcripts are processed only on Tuesdays. As a result, please allow 7-10 days for processing.

Paper transcript requests are generally processed within 2-3 business days; however, during peak periods (registration, end of term or graduation), please allow at least five (5) business days for your request to be processed.

Financial Holds

If you have a financial hold on your account, your transcript will not be released until the debt has been paid. Please contact the Cashiers Office at bursar@southwest.tn.edu for assistance with payments. Once the debt and hold have been cleared, please resubmit your transcript request.
