What is Saluqi Knowledge?

Saluqi Knowledge is a pre-orientation and must be completed in order to register for New Student Orientation. You can expect to learn about Title IX, FERPA, Financial Aid, and the College’s Alcohol and Drug Policies. Please plan to spend 30 minutes completing Saluqi Knowledge.

How do I access Saluqi Knowledge?

The first step is to access your My.Southwest College Portal (login required).

I completed Saluqi Knowledge. What is my next step?

Once you have completed Saluqi Knowledge, you will be prompted to sign up for New Student Orientation to be held on campus or continue the New Student Orientation online.

If you attend New Student Orientation on campus, you will register for classes while you are here. If you choose to complete New Student Orientation online, you will need to schedule an advising appointment to meet with your advisor and register for classes.

To register for New Student Orientation, you must access PAWS and sign in with your Southwest username and password. Please watch the video below on how to access NSO using your PAWS portal.
