Randall E. Knowles Endowed Memorial Scholarship Hotel Management

Southwest scholarships are dependent upon availability of funds and may not be awarded every year.

A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is required for all types of financial aid awarded at Southwest including scholarships. You must complete a FAFSA application even if you do not believe that you are eligible for grant programs.

Randall E. Knowles Endowed Memorial Scholarship Hotel Management

Scholarship or Scholarships is/are available for full tuition/fees and books for the academic year. Students enrolled full or part-time are eligible to apply. Scholarship(s) is/are renewable for the second academic year, provided scholarship criteria are maintained.

Criteria

1. Must be a Hospitality Management major with a hotel management concentration
2. Must be a full or part-time degree seeking student
3. Scholarship is renewable, provided 2.5 GPA is maintained
4. Financial Aid recipients are acceptable
5. During the semester the scholarship is awarded, recipient must be enrolled in Hospitality courses.
6. Students may be required to answer additional questions as required by the Randall E. Knowles Endowed Memorial Scholarship Committee.
7. Student may be a returning student or entering freshman
8. Applicant must have received a high school diploma or a GED to be eligible.

Procedure

Submit application (opens new window) to Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process

Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee with the direction of Hospitality Management faculty.
