Elsie Mae Swoboda AAS Acct Computer Concentration Scholarship

Southwest scholarships are dependent upon availability of funds and may not be awarded every year.

A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is required for all types of financial aid awarded at Southwest including scholarships. You must complete a FAFSA application even if you do not believe that you are eligible for grant programs.

Elsie Mae Swoboda AAS Acct Computer Concentration Scholarship

One $1,000 scholarship is available each academic year.

Criteria

1. The student must be in their second year as an AAS Accounting with a Computer Concentration major.
2. The student must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA
3. Applicant must have received a high school diploma or a GED to be eligible.

Procedure

Submit application (opens new window) to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process

The Accounting Faculty will nominate students with one name per faculty member. The coordinator of the AAS Accounting degree with a Computer Concentration will make the final selection.
