Frank Wooten Scholarship

Southwest scholarships are dependent upon availability of funds and may not be awarded every year.

A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is required for all types of financial aid awarded at Southwest including scholarships. You must complete a FAFSA application even if you do not believe that you are eligible for grant programs.

Frank Wooten Scholarship

One Scholarship for tuition and fees is available.  Scholarship is renewable for the second academic year, provided the criteria continue to be met.

Criteria

1. New or returning student
2. Any degree program
3. Academic standing and financial need will be considered.
4. Full or part-time student.
5. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 for award and to renew award.
6. Applicant must have received a high school diploma or a GED to be considered.

Procedure

Apply to the Foundation Scholarship Website by March 15
